Whether you are an individual wanting to learn how to compost or a business thinking of beginning to compost, there are a number of ways to get involved in the project (see below).

Composting at home:

We can provide advice, workshop sessions and signpost resources to help you with composting at home (even if you have never done it before). Composting already? Let us support you to deepen your composting know how.

Composting at work:

Visit one of our compost demonstration sites to view working examples of food waste solutions to suit a range of organisations and businesses. Get tailored advice on the best food waste solutions for your organisation or business.  

Volunteer at growing / composting sites: 

Volunteer at one of our grow sites where you can learn about composting & growing fruit & vegetables using organic, no dig principles in a friendly, relaxed environment. 

All of the food grown at our sites is shared on a 'pay as you feel' basis through the Incredible Surplus network.

If you’d like to get involved by volunteering at one of our composting & growing sites, please get in touch by completing this short form with your name, contact details, what you’re interested in and days you are available, and one of our co-ordinators will get back to you. The sites are located at allotments in Londonderry/Smethwick & Handsworth.

Corporate Away Days:

Treat your workforce to an away day at one of our composting/growing sites where they can take part in physical outdoor activity that supports community climate action.
